What is a multi-signature?

Updated today

A multi-signature is a security feature for payment orders and documents that requires approval from more than one authorised person before an action is completed.

It is automatically enabled for companies with multiple directors when their articles of association do not allow directors to act individually. The feature can also be enabled on request for any company or private individual with more than one authorised person.

The service is provided free of charge.
