Virtual, plastic, Apple Pay and Google Pay - what's the difference?
Virtual, plastic, Apple Pay and Google Pay - what's the difference?
Updated over 8 months ago

With a plastic card you can withdraw cash, pay in shops and make online payments. A plastic card has two limitations: you can lose your plastic card and will have to wait a few days for a new one to be made and sent to you.

A Virtual card is a perfect tool for online shopping. You will never lose this card, it will never fall into the hands of malicious individuals. In addition, if you suddenly make a payment on a suspicious site and you are concerned about data security, you can quickly block the card and get a new one: unlike plastic cards, you don't have to wait for them to be manufactured and delivered.

Mobile Wallet : Apple Pay and Google Pay technologies allow you to connect both plastic and virtual cards to your gadget! This is not just a way to pay at the checkout with your watch or phone; in fact, the mobile wallet extends the capabilities of the virtual card - purchases in conventional offline shops are now available, as well as cash withdrawals from ATMs.
